Butinga is a private property running some cattle and various other agricultural activity. With such a beautiful and relaxing setting, the owners Dennis & Katy have decided to share this magnificent environment by opening it up to the public to enjoy for camping in a limited capacity. Our goal is to provide you with a stress free enjoyable break and to go home feeling revitalized. Hopefully, you would then look forward to coming back again.
The property and grounds consists of terrain ranging from tree lined creek flats opening to gently rolling plains to steeper treed areas and rocky out crops with caves. It has magnificent views through to the base of O'Reilly's with waterfalls visible (weather permitting), hoop pines and rainforest areas.
421 acres of wilderness adjoining Lamington National Park, 1.6 km of crystal clear permanent flowing creek, makes for an ideal setting for a peaceful and tranquil getaway from the stresses of modern living.
