Terms and Conditions  (Under Construction - not completed)

For your safety we are required by law that all guests register with us immediately upon arrival.  Because "Butinga" is fairly large, 421 acres, it is important that we know who is present on the property at all times.  In case emergency evacuation is required, due to flood, fire and such, we need know that everyone on the property has been accounted for.  Any person who does not register with us on arrival will be considered as trespassing and will be required to immediately leave the property.

While on the property we ask that you please use common sense and practice common safety produres.  As you will be sharing the property with other guests, please be considerate of others.  Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible parent or adult, their safety is your responsibility.

Driving on the property is speed limited to walking pace only and all normal road rules apply.  That means driving while over the legal blood alcohol limit is not permitted, as by law, and you will be liable for any accident and damage incurred.  Please be aware that road conditions changes during wet weather.  The driver is responsible at all times for the vehicle and all its occupants.  All bicycle riders as by law, must wear helmets.  No motor bikes are permitted on the property.  This is NOT a 4wd park so no 4 wheel driving as such is allowed on the property.  This is so we can preserve the property in its natural state and avoid severe erosion.

Firewood may be gathered from fallen trees and branches.  DO NOT CUT DOWN TREES.  Extreme care must be taken if collecting firewood.  As this is a wilderness area there is a likelyhood that snakes maybe encountered.  If this happens, please stay well clear and allow it to move away as it probably will.  As some of these snakes are venomous, do not interfere with any of the snakes for any reason, as they will attack if provoked.

Noise to be kept to the absolute minimum as guest are here to enjoy to enjoy the quiet beauty and tranquility of the surrounds and to relax.  There are to be no blaring noise or radios at any time.  Obnoxious behaviour, foul and offensive language will not be tolerated !  People behaving in such a manner will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
